Abstract

Paper presented by the authors is to provide knowledge and an overview of a technology called cloud computing is currently a trend in the world of information technology. Cloud Computing / Cloud computing is the combined use of computer technology or Internet-based computing and the development or the cloud, where information is permanently stored on the server cloud service providers can thus access data from anywhere connected to the internet that is important. Cloud computing helps businesses to use the application without installation, without having to build infrastructure, hardware, software because it has been provided by the company's cloud service provider, of course, with pay. Utilization of IT technology among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are still relatively low because among SMEs has not been sufficient resources are available to purchase, implement, maintain and secure their own information systems. Cloud computing technology for the very fit and a cheap and efficient solution for SMEs to be able to increase productivity and business competitiveness in the era of globalization.
