APLIKASI CHATING ANTAR PC STUDI KASUS : LOCAL AREA NETWORK

Abstract

A local area network(LAN) is a computer network that connect computers and devices in a limited geographical
area such as home, school, computer laboratory or office building. Most LANs connect workstation and personal
computers. Each node in a LAN has own CPU with which it executes programs, but it also is able to access data
and devices anywhere on the LAN. This means that many users can share expensive devices, for example printer,
as well as data. Users can also use the LAN to communicate with each other or division by sending informasi in
chat sessions.The research aim is chatting application to communication among several computer on the LAN.
There are two parts in this application, client and server application. Server must run first and client will ask a
connection to the server. The result from experiment this application refer that communication between server to
clients can work well. Every message can be sended from server to each client. The finaly, this application chatt can
used without internet support
