Abstract


The success of information Technology definitely depends on the technology acceptance by its users. The
research look through on the Rates of the emloyee Perception on the Application of ERP (Enterprise
Resource Planning).
The making of this thesis of is purposed to recognize some factors which effect the acceptance of the use
ERP application. Regarding to the purpose which will be attained, the data is the taken by using
questionnaire technic. The criteria is some employees from the Finance Departement of PT. PLN who have
used the application of ERP. This technic is used to convince the reliability of the research data. The sample
is taken from 149 respondents with high return rates of the questionnaire. The determination of this number is
intended to fulfill the minimum criteria of statistic instruments being used which is SEM ( Structural
Equalion Modelling).
To be able to know the acceptance of ERP Application, it needs methods of good decision choice which is
one of them is Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) used to predict the user acceptance towards the use of
new technology. In 1989, The model being launched by Davis F..D. was the most used by others in the
research of Information System due to it can produce a good validity. The last result from the TAM method
is an effective decision proposal based on the data process gained from the experienced respondents or those
who have used the ERP Application before. The data process is supported by AMOS 7.0, a kind of software
to sustain the making of decision, to estimate from the model being developed and inputs matrices being
chosen by using the estimation technic of Maximum Likelihood (ML) as well.
