CLOUD COMPUTING UNTUK MENDUKUNG KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT DALAMPROSES BELAJAR MENGAJAR DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN GOOGLE DOCS

Abstract

Knowledge is an important asset, if managed properly it will be used to create innovation
and improve competitiveness. One way to gain knowledge is through formal education were held both
government and private. In addition, information technology is also regarded as a lever of excellence. Cloud
computing is an emerging technology and has the significant impact on the educational environment. But
there are several obstacles in the process of dissemination of knowledge through formal education, including
face-to-face time is limited, the competition in the classroom to get the best value, and yet growing
awareness for sharing knowledge, causing existing and valuable knowledge lost. This study used qualitative
methods and aims to implement knowledge management using google docs, google docs is a cloud based
application. By using google docs the elements in knowledge management can be stored and disseminated to
create new knowledge or innovation.
