Abstract


Elementary school students sometimes feel bored in english vocabulary learning because the learning
methods due to the less attractive such as learning through books, writing on paper and listen to
explanations from the teacher. This causes less motivated students to learn English vocabulary, because they
assume that the lessons were difficult and not independent because the need is always accompanied by the
teacher. One of the media, information technology-based learning is learning by using game. Educational
game also have to be made fun so that learning goals can be achieved and students become motivated to
learn. To achieve this goal, the application of Artificial Intelligent (AI) in the manufacture of Game is
absolutely necessary, so that game can provide challenges to players did not stop playing game. FSM
(Finite State Machine) is one method of application of AI in the manufacture of the popular game and it
applied to an intelligent decision. In this research, in trying to make game that could apply to the award of
FSM method that can respond to the challenge of automated intelligent player, so it is expected to play the
game interesting and the player not feel boored.
